Luck by Chance
One of the prime reasons why LUCK BY CHANCE works is because the writing is simply wonderful. On the whole, LUCK BY CHANCE is an outstanding film in all respects. LUCK BY CHANCE is sure to prove an extremely lucky and rewarding experience at the box-office.
Dasvidaniya
On the whole, DASVIDANIYA is engrossing in parts. While the first hour works well, it’s the second part that turns pale due to its slow pacing and a not-as-tight screenplay. Sure, the film has the merits, but it will have to rely on a strong word of mouth to stay afloat.
Victory
VICTORY revolves around a cricketer, talks of the highs and lows in his life, how greed, arrogance and lust almost ruin his career, but how he regains his lost form and becomes a hero all over again. A few interesting moments don’t really help. This one tries to hit a boundary, but ends up taking a single.
Aasma - The sky is the limit
Frankly, you’re completely clueless about what this film is attempting to say. On the whole, AASMA has dim prospects.
1942 A Love Story
Pancham’s arguably last compositions are afitting tribute to the departed music virtuoso, bearing the stamp ofhis genius. Simple lyrics penned by Javed Akhtar do justice to themusic by not being over cumbersome but flowing delectably along withthe tunes.
Raaz - The Mystery Continues
On the whole, Raaz - The Mystery Continues is rich in the horror quotient and that is one of its major USPs, besides the highly competent performances by its principal cast and a lilting musical score.
The President Is Coming
In Bollywood movies varied subjects are being attempted. And this trend is truly gaining impetus with many recent films defying the stereotype. THE PRESIDENT IS COMING is one more film that betrays conventional thinking. THE PRESIDENT IS COMING offers laughter aplenty and that is its biggest USP.
Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi
To start with, RAB NE BANA DI JODI brings back the golden team of DILWALE DULHANIYA LE JAYENGE and MOHABBATEIN after a hiatus and the only parallel you can draw with the earlier achievements is the fact that each of them is a love story. Otherwise, RAB NE BANA DI JODI is truly different.
Wafaa
The character lusting for Lolita in “Wafaa” is more like Shakti Kapoor from the South Indian remakes in the 1980s than any of the smooth-and-sensitive lover-boy roles Rajesh Khanna played in earlier decades.
